Visit to the museum

During one of our excursions in Beijing, we went to visit the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC).

A museum of art located in Dongcheng District and which offers temporary exhibitions in addition to a permanent collection of Chinese artists (it also has the advantage of being free).

A good opportunity to appreciate the works of local and international painters but also, and above all, to be fascinated by what has become the “consumerism” of art into the museums in our digital and mobile phones era, especially in China.

You’ll tell me: it’s the same everywhere! No doubt, but this is the first time that it has so much appealed to me: a strange feeling that we are losing our ability to really watch and appreciate what we can see.

Anyway… I did not resist and as the people here, I put an eye on my lens to observe this strange digital ballet in the middle of all these paints frozen by indifference.
